This magazine spawned from my love of the outdoors and no clear outlet to share this portion of my work. The collection found in Issue 1 covers images taken in recent years while camping, hiking, and exploring this beautiful planet we all share. These images were shot while experiencing and enjoying nature, taking advantage of ever-changing conditions to capture moments.
The first issue features over 100 pages of curated images from six distinct locations: Badlands National Park, White Sands National Monument, a road trip around Iceland, Antelope Canyon, Paint Mines Interpretive Park, and Crater Lake National Park. Along with the magazine, a selection of images are available as individual prints.
I have never had much patience with landscape/nature photography. I like to explore. I like to keep moving. Searching for views and watching for how light and weather conditions interact. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good sunrise or sunset, but mostly when they can be captured by a trail or our tent.
Why GREY LP? Well, my middle name is Grey from the always badass wizard, Gandalf the Grey and LP was pulled from my last name. I have dreamt of sharing this portion of my work for a long time, originally as a photobook. It evolved into a magazine, mostly to keep costs lower while still providing a quality product.
