Nissan turned the Denver Coliseum into a proving ground for the new 2017 Titan as well as providing a place to learn about their truck heritage. Upon entering the arena you are greeted with information on the trucks of the past along with what went into building the new Titan. Seeing old advertisements was a highlight for me.
The driving course consisted of two parts, one on road while the other was a custom made off road course. The road course helped show things like maneuverability and breaking. My truck driving experience is rather limited but the breaking distance from 35 mph was truly impressive for an almost 7,000 lbs vehicle. The steering was light and it was easy to whip the truck around the slalom course. The off road course included obstacles like climbing logs, 28 degree berm, and a steep dirt hill but due to recently getting a bunch of stitches in my mouth I figured it was best to skip driving this area.
